Howdy folks!

Introducing Mr Reg Troubshort and Mr Abner Turnipseed, we started as a double act performing American old time and bluegrass music with cool British humour. We play 5 string banjo, Appalachian dulcimer, guitar, octave mandola, harmonica, and even the tea-chest bass.  Now we have grown to a 5 piece band with double bass, lap steel, fiddle, washboard and cajon.

Available for bookings – we have performed as a five piece for main stage acts at festivals including headlining at the 2015 Bunkfest in Wallingford and for larger halls and pubs, but we can also still perform as a double act and play acoustically for smaller venues like folk clubs, bars, cafes, village halls and even trains.
